About us

About

The madrasa, its story, its people and the projects it sustains.

A light that illuminates others does not go out.
Our founding promise, knowledge, guidance, service, kept alight since 1971.

Our story

A UK-based charity supporting education, welfare, and deprived communities across Bangladesh.

From a village schoolroom in 1971 to a trilingual platform in 2026.

Meet Shaikhul Hadith Mufti Abdur Rahman, chairman and principal Mufti.

Teachers, scholars, counsellors and trustees.

Ongoing and completed projects we run and support.

Three pillars

Knowledge, charity, and counsel, three threads of the same work.

Hifz, Hadith, fiqh and contemporary Islamic practice, taught with classical rigour.

Zakat, Sadaqah, Qurbani and seasonal appeals, distributed locally and ethically.

Confidential 1-to-1 support with a Muslim counsellor, in English or Bangla.
