Why 313

The Ashab al-Badr circle is inspired by the 313 companions who stood at Badr with sincerity, sacrifice, and commitment. This is not a symbolic donation wall. It is a long-term support circle sustaining Islamic education and student welfare at Monuhorpur Anwarul Uloom Madrasa.

What is the Ashab ul Badr 313 circle?

Ashab ul Badr 313 is a yearly support circle created to help sustain the day-to-day running of Monuhorpur Anwarul Uloom Madrasa.

We are looking for 313 supporters to pledge £100 yearly so the madrasa can continue supporting students through stable, long-term funding instead of seasonal emergency fundraising.

This support helps cover:

  • student meals
  • boarding expenses
  • clothing and essentials
  • classroom operations
  • teacher support
  • electricity, water, and maintenance
  • daily madrasa running costs

The goal is not luxury or expansion. The goal is stability, continuity, and preserving sacred knowledge for future generations.

Why yearly support matters

Many madrasa expenses are ongoing and predictable every month , food, utilities, student care, maintenance, and operational costs continue whether fundraising is active or not.

Yearly supporters help provide stable funding that allows the madrasa to plan ahead and care for students consistently throughout the year.

Instead of relying entirely on one-off appeals, the Ashab ul Badr 313 circle helps create a sustainable foundation for the madrasa.

Why the number 313?

The number 313 is inspired by the people of Badr, remembered in Islamic history for their sincerity, sacrifice, and steadfastness.

This campaign does not compare donors to the Sahaba. Rather, the number serves as a symbolic reminder that a small group of committed people can help sustain something meaningful for generations.

Every supporter becomes part of the circle

Each yearly supporter:

  • receives a digital certificate
  • is added to the supporter board
  • receives yearly renewal reminders
  • receives updates on the madrasa and its students
  • helps sustain ongoing Islamic education

Supporters may choose public name display, initials only, or anonymous support.

Building long-term stability

The aim of the Ashab ul Badr 313 circle is to help the madrasa move away from constant short-term fundraising pressure and towards stable yearly support.

Consistent support allows better planning, better care for students, and a more sustainable future for the madrasa.
