Masjid expansion (Moulvibazar)
Expanding prayer capacity to serve the growing Friday congregation.
Why we're expanding
Our masjid in Moulvibazar serves a Friday congregation that has doubled in the last decade. On most Jumu'ahs we now turn worshippers away — they pray on the verandah, in the courtyard, sometimes on the road outside. The current footprint cannot keep up with the community we serve.
This project adds a second prayer hall, a women's section with its own entrance, ablution facilities, and an upper floor for the madrasa students who currently share space with the main hall.
What your gift builds
- £25 — one square foot of finished prayer floor
- £100 — a full bag of cement (we need ~200)
- £500 — one window, fitted and glazed
- £2,500 — one finished ablution bay
- £10,000+ — a named pillar (sponsor a dua plaque)
Construction is led by a local team in Moulvibazar, with monthly progress photos shared on this page and to all donors over £100.
Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for them a house in Paradise.
