Welcome to our new home online
A short note from the chairman on launching the trilingual site.
Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim.
Assalamu alaykum, and welcome to the new home of Monuhorpur Anwarul Uloom Madrasa online. For more than fifty years, this work has depended on personal trust — a phone call, a face-to-face conversation, an envelope handed to a friend travelling back to Sylhet. That trust remains the heart of what we do. This site is here to extend it.
What you'll find here
The new site brings together the things our supporters have been asking for, in one place:
- Donate transparently — every appeal is named, every gift is tracked against the cause, and you can give zakat, sadaqah, qurbani, lillah or one-off appeals in your preferred currency, with Gift Aid where eligible.
- Ask the chairman — Shaikhul Hadith Mufti Abdur Rahman answers questions submitted by the public, with full citations from Qur'an, Hadith and the four schools.
- Learn with us — courses, workshops, and Friday khutbas published in English, Bengali and Arabic.
- Counselling — confidential 1-to-1 support with an accredited Muslim counsellor, in English or Bangla.
The best of you are those who are most beneficial to people.
Trilingual from day one
This site is published in English, Bengali and Arabic. The translations are still being reviewed by native speakers and will be refined in the coming weeks. If you spot something that reads strangely, please tell us — we'd rather hear it from you than miss it.
JazakAllahu khairan for being part of this — every visit, every share, every dua makes this work possible.
